Madison Chock is an American figure skater born on July 2, 1992, who performs in ice dancing with Evan Bates. They are silver (2015) and bronze (2016) medalists of the World Championship, two-time champions of the four continents (2020, 2019), two-time vice-champions of the Four continents Championship (2015, 2016), two-time bronze medalists of the Four Continents Championship (2013, 2017), silver medalists of the Grand Prix final (2014, 2015, 2019), two-time champions of the USA (2015, 2020), two-time world champions as part of the USA team (2013, 2015).
Madison Chock started skating at the age of five after watching figure skating on TV. At the age of 12, she switched to ice dancing. Her first partner was Kurt Langerferte, with whom she finished fourth at the 2006 U.S. Junior Championships. From 2006 to 2011, she was paired with Greg Zurlein, with whom they became world junior champions (2009), winners of the Junior Grand Prix final (2008), bronze medalists of the U.S. Adult Championship (2011). In June 2011, Greg decided to end his career and the couple broke up. Since July 2011, she has been performing with Evan Bates, with whom she has achieved major success in her career.
