Phoebe Waller-Bridge is a British theatre, film and television actress, screenwriter and Director. Three-time nominee for the Emmy award. She was born in West London, in family Michael Waller-Bridge and Teresa Waller-Bridge. Her parents are divorced. Phoebe is a graduate of the Royal Academy of dramatic art.
She made her stage debut in 2009 in the play Roaring Trade at the London theater SOHO, later played there in the production of Rubbish. She participated in the second season of the British series Murder on the beach. In 2014, Phoebe was the screenwriter of three episodes of the series Slackers. In 2016, Phoebe wrote the script for two TV series, which also starred in the lead roles — Roommates and Rubbish. In 2018, she received a nomination for the Emmy award for best screenplay for the drama television series Killing eve, the creator of which she is.

In April 2019, it was announced that Waller-Bridge had been appointed as one of the writers for bond 25. In July 2019, it was announced that Phoebe was nominated for an Emmy award for best actress in a Comedy television series and best screenplay for a Comedy series. From 2014 to 2018 she, was married to documentary filmmaker Conor Woodman.
